With the ice storm finally over, well for most of us, there were so many opportunities for 'What Would Amy do'. It was so amazing to see all the people out helping one another. While we were out helping pick up around our neighborhood, someone visiting from Sisters was joining in with a chainsaw getting a lot of the big branches. It was SUCH a big help! We have some friends that are still without power up on Ladd Hill and may be out till the 28th! They have horses and dogs and have well water which is not working due to needing a pump. They are getting help from neighbors for that. We ran a nice warm pot of soup up to them with salad and corn bread. We have also made a couple dinners for a neighbor who just had extensive foot surgery. Such crazy weather. We were without electricity for 3 days. You don't realize how much you miss those things when you don't have them. Like you said, appreciate each day that we are given. You are such an inspiration Amy (and Dave too :-) ) We are blessed to know you. I was so glad that I logged on tonight and read such great news on your blood work. We are routing for you Amy - keep it up!!!
