I was so glad to receive the letter about your army Amy. And the encouragement to do selfless acts and think of you. I have really tried to do this especially since retiring and writing about them feels less than humble but I will do them in your honor. This week I made sandwich meals for people living outside. We had my sweet sister in law who has Alzheimers with us for the day and she helped me but putting things in the sacks, an easy task for most of us but challenging for her. Yet she had a smile on her face and we enjoyed the work together.
Amy, I am praying for you, especially for comfort in the therapy you receive and for miraculous healing. Please give my love to Emily and I am thankful you have a loving family to care for you.
Missy, thank you for your kind words, making meals for the homeless is a wonderful act of kindness, and I am glad your sister in-law got to help you with this. Thank you for prayers too. love Amy
