Today I am sitting here doing my chemo day, after a very long week and weekend doing an estate sale at my parents. Thank you to my best friend Heather, for her ALL the hard work she did on the sale for my family. I never could have done it without her, she is a workhorse. Having a sale like that is draining in its self, but seeing your childhood, and adulthood memories being sold or are very emotional. So to say i have been very emotional is a understatement, but I did make it thru my 2nd round of chemo without being sick, which was a true blessing. Thank you Lord for answering my prayers.
I would like to ask of all of you to not just think of me doing chemo, but everybody in this packed chemo room. Everyone of these people in here has their own story, so I ask my Army for prayers not just for me and my journey but everyone that has this dreadful disease. It effects every family and doesn’t discriminate. When my Dad did his chemo I got to be his chemo buddy and sit beside him in his treatment, but because of Covid no one in here, gets to have their loved one sit with them to pass the time.
I have another hour before Dave picks me up so I will continue my movie. Dave, Emily and I also want to wish all of you a Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your families, but I want to really thank each and everyone of you, I can’t even tell you enough, what I feel for all of you for all your love and support you have shown us. We are so truly grateful for all of you. We love you, and so blessed all of you, are in our lives. - Amy
